Spring Has Sprung

Spring has officially sprung at our home. My tulips have just started to pop up through the bark and soon they will bloom....I can't wait....this is the first time I planted tulips and they are my FAVORITE flower. I put up my Easter decor this weekend. I had my winter ladder up long enough and I was ready for some springy, fun colors instead of silver and white. 

Last year I added a ton of ribbon in multiple colors but, I decided to just simplify this year and go with the light pink and purple ribbons. 

I love the twinkle of the lights. 

The eggs have a glittered/irridescent look to them so the lights make them look so pretty. 

I love the twigs and natural elements.

I love that the first thing you see when you enter our home is this ladder that welcomes in the current season! Spring has officially sprung here!!

I bought a few packs of small eggs last year after easter on clearance and I found a few places to put them this year. This chandelier is in the entryway and the small eggs are perfect because they don't hang too low. Perfect way to add a little color!

I found this beauty at the thrift store this weekend. Would you pay $2 for this...yep, me too!! 

It has really thick glass and has a marble base...perfect for a little spring decorating! 

I added a few twigs, moss and some fuzzy eggs...perfect for the coffee table in the front room! 

The glass is SO thick and beautiful!! Worth every penny! 

I added my clay bunny, a stack of books, and an egg tree to the display. 

The rest of the small eggs(clearance from last year) I put above my kitchen sink window. I already had the wood and greenery hanging so I just added a fuzzy pink boa and the eggs. Simple, yet festive! 

The rest of the easter decor was put into the bay window behind the kitchen sink.

The kids LOVE this bunny.....it's a wind-up toy and hops around! I can see this decoration being found in children's rooms.....not staying where I placed it!

I love Spring and am excited to see the new colors all around! Can't believe it's only two weeks and we'll have a new baby....better finish up some last minute projects!!
